Scott Mezuk returns to vertical turbine pump manufacturer

Ruthman Companies has appointed a new general manager to lead operations at its Michigan-based vertical pumps manufacturer, Process Systems Inc.  Scott Mezuk, who began his fluid handling career at PSI, was brought from sister Ruthman company Great Lakes Pump & Supply to streamline operations and elevate customer service.

Having worked at PSI in roles across the company, including labor, assembly, inventory, quality control, purchasing and shop management, Scott is uniquely qualified to execute the company’s business plan. His immediate priorities will include developing tools and training staff in order to shorten quote turnaround time and implement manufacturing efficiencies.

Scott’s pump industry experience spans over three decades. After his initial 13 years at PSI, he spent several years in pump sales before joining Great Lakes Pump & Supply. At Great Lakes, he applied his expertise as Service Manager performing troubleshooting, repairs, and pump station facility set up and training for the distributor’s line of pumps and process equipment, including PSI and its Deming brand vertical turbine pumps.

To augment his hands-on pump experience, Scott has earned training certificates from numerous pump and process equipment manufacturers, is certified by the state of Michigan in storm water operations, and is a trained auditor in ISO 9000 quality systems.
