Application Engineer

Job Summary
Seeking an Engineer to become an integral part of our gear pump manufacturing team!  Position works closely with our Inside Sales and Production departments to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze user needs to select a pump to meet those requirements
• Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
• Recommend upgrades to optimize operational efficiency and cost
• Create drawings for manufactured pumps
• Create Bill of Materials

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of SolidWorks and Autocad
• Previous experience in pump development, especially with vertical turbine pumps
• Knowledge of pump systems
• Fluency in pump performance evaluations
• Experience in pump design and performance testing new models
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
